Ornament Elegance

Simple card using the ornament keepsakes bundle. Also used square lattice EF, vintage wallpaper EF, finishing touches edgelits. Ornaments are inked with baja breeze and so saffron.

(I thought I should do a simple, almost monochromatic card after my previous wildly colored post "colorful woodgrain")

stamps - elements of style, teeny tiny wishes
ink - espresso, crumb cake, so saffron, always artichoke
cardstock - so saffron, espresso, whisper white, crumb cake

I inked the vintage wallpaper EF with crumb cake and espresso for the white background panel. I cut crumb cake with labels framelit, inked the vintage wallpaper EF with so saffron and crumb cake, then embossed.

Embossed Doily

First masked off the sponged area - sponged in pumpkin pie, rich razzleberry, elegant eggplant. Stamped doily in elegant eggplant on top; embossed with fancy fan folder. Added itty bitty flower punch, itty bitty banner stamped in pumpkin pie. Card is primrose petals.

So Many Smiles

SUPPLIES:

stamps - delicate doilies, petite pairs, french foliage (dots)
ink - crumb cake, cajun craze, always artichoke, espresso
paper - crumb cake, whisper white, rust
accessories - itty bitty punches, mini brads, corner rounder

The idea for this card was to create a card without using the Big Shot. When I teach classes at the library, we do two cards and inevitably, everyone ends up waiting for the Big Shot. So I decided to do one card that emphasizes embossing folders and diecuts, and another that doesn't require the use of the Big Shot at all!

Colorful Doilies

So I appear to be stuck on coloring with blender pens...I will need to snap out of it pretty soon :)

I stamped the delicate doily images in stazon black onto whisper white cardstock; colored them in with blender pen and wisteria wonder, wild wasabi, and marina mist. Matted with bashful blue and certainly celery. Banners are embossed with square lattice, chevron and fancy fan embossing folders. Added gumball green ribbon, pearls, itty bitty banner "congratulations" cut with bitty banner framelit.

Fall Color Twist

This is a fall leaves card with a little twist to the colors. I thought the vibrant colors on the french foliage set were fun against the pink pirouhette background panel embossed with the woodgrain EF. I first stamped the french foliage leaves in stazon black on watercolor paper; colored with a blender pen using calypso coral, elegant eggplant and melon mambo. Easy peasy!

Just Ducky

This is another simple format, easy to demonstrate as a make and take. This is similar to the earlier posting labeled butterfly trio. The ducks are from the wonderful winterland set. Best wishes is from the old sincere salutations set. Background embossing is chevron EF.

Simple Things

This card is a CASE originally posted by Joni Seith on stampin connection. The gals and gent at my card class this morning loved making this card!

The white cardstock is embossed with the framed tulips EF. The leaves are the shapeabilities nested maple leaves. Sentiment from an old SU set .

Fall Leaves Joseph's Coat

This is a card made using the Joseph's Coat technique. I CASE'd it from a card I first saw on Stampin' Connection but I don't remember the ladies name. We actually made this at a workshop I held at Wildcat Pizza last night!

I used the FRENCH FOLIAGE and TEENY TINY WISHES sets. You take whisper white cardstock and sponge on a variety of colors - make them bright. Then you stamp the leaf image using a versamark pad and emboss with clear powder. Ink up a brayer or sponge in espresso ink and cover the entire card several times. Wipe off the excess ink from the embossed image. It's such a striking result :)
Misc: primrose petal ribbon; oval, scallop oval and circle punch, little leaves diecut; designer buttons; melon mambo, espresso cardstock..
