Holiday Ornament

To make this card, I cut the zig zag strips using finishing touches edgelits, adhered them to white cardstock, then diecut with holiday ornaments framelits. Added dimension to background panels with the square lattice EF, and the lacy brocade EF. The lacy trim is also from the finishing touches edgelits. Not sure of the name of the DSP; merry christmas sentiment is from petite pairs.

Birthday Drive By

This card is for my sweet son's 22nd birthday. I don't know why after all these years, it is still hard for me to come up with a "mancard". It was so tempting for me to add ribbon but I exercised self-control :)

I used the retired loads of love set for the truck, and the birthday sentiment is from happiest birthday wishes.  I used the square lattice embossing folder after stamping the wood grain. Colors used: crumb cake, basic gray, baja breeze, whisper white.

Father's Day Field Flowers

This is a father's day card - and the reason I can get away with beautiful flower's for a "manly" card, is that my step-dad is an amazing photographer of wildflowers : ) So he is one of the few men that might appreciate such a card. It is similar to the previously posted Field Flowers Thank You but I changed the colors to add a little more masculine tones : )

For the two-step stamping on the flowers I used Cherry Cobbler for the outline and Pumpkin Pie for the shading. Cardstock colors are Soft Suede, Cajun Craze, and Whisper White. I stamped the image before diecutting with the Labels Framelits.

Field Flower Thanks

My goal with this card was to try to use a color combo that wouldn't be typical for me to select with the Field Flower set.  I used cajun craze, lucky limeade, early espresso, and white cardstock. For ink I used cherry cobbler for the flower outline, pumpkin pie for the two step stamping, and always artichoke for the stem and sentiment. I used the labels and bitty banners framelits, the petals a plenty and square lattice embossing folders, and the ribbon border and ticket punches. The sentiment is the itty bitty banners set with an antique brad below it.

Now on to father's day cards...

Get Well Soon

I made this get well card using the Nature Walk and FreshVintage stamp sets.  I stamped the Fresh Vintage pattern on the background using Pool Party  and Wild Wasabi ink and then ran it through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice EF. Used the Vintage Wallpaper EF on the Wild Wasabi. After I stamped the bird and colored using markers and blender pen, I embossed with the Square Lattice EF. Trimmed it with victoria crochet ribbon and designer series button. I took a very small trimmed edge of baja breeze paper and ran through the button holes to look like thick thread; then used tacky tape to stick the button to ribbon.

Apothecary Sympathy

Another card I wish I didn't have the occasion to make.  Because the family has such a love of life, gardening, and Jesus, I decided it should also be colorful with flowers.  Used my fav - apothecary art with labels framelits, bitty banners framelits, and the vintage wallpaper EF. The sympathy and friendship stamp is not SU - it's from My Sentiments Exactly (a very stamp).  SU papers used are cherry cobbler, daffodil delight, very vanilla, and watercolor paper. Ribbon is also daffodil delight. I used the marker layering technique to color the flowers.
