Beautiful You Thank You

Pulling out another old SU set. I love the images in the "beautiful you" set. I used an aqua marker to add the color wash to the background of the stamped image. I stamped misc. inks on acetate and spritzed, then smooshed watercolor paper against for the background panel.

Storybook Friends Shaker Cards

I love this Stampin' Up! set and bundle from 2025 called Storybook Friends. I made several versions to send to my eight grand kiddos! I improvised in creating the shaker card by die cutting the circle out of the paper, then adding the sequins/glitter to a background cardstock and covering with a piece of acetate.

 

Elk Masculine Card

I love the simplicity of the elk image from the Outdoor Adventure bundle. I spritzed water after inking to give a watercolor look. 

Using this fun fold card technique made it easy to highlight the elk with the patterned paper background.

For the card fold:

• Cut cardbase to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 
• Score at 4 1/4 and 2 1/8
• Cut decorative paper at 4 x 5 1/4 and two pieces at 1 7/8 x 5 1/4

I used soft suede and sahara sand inks on the elk and then spritzed before stamping. Also spritzed the trees after inking as well.

 

Llama Birthday

The llama is the star of the show on this card. Such a fun and simple focal point. The LONG TIME NO SEE set is just adorable, and the dog in the set shines just as much! The card seemed like it was missing something so I added the hand-drawn black line border. 

The "limited edition" is not Stampin Up - it is from Tim Holtz set TINY TEXT. In order to get the long deckled rectangle for this slimline, I cut the first half by not allowing the top cutting plate to cover the bottom of the rectangle, then flipped over and did the same thing. 
 

Flip Flop Toadstools

 I love this TERRIFIC TOADSTOOLS photopolymer set from the January - April 2025 Mini Catalog. And the matching TOADSTOOL GARDEN DSP that you can earn with sale-a-bration is fantastic! Such fun colors.

The Flip Flop Fun Fold is the star of the show. It needs little else to make it pop!
