More Sweet Strawberry Cards

I am enjoying playing around with this Sweet Strawberry bundle. The strawberries just stamp out so nicely! The two step stamp process makes the image so beautiful. The blending brushes also add such a soft touch of ink to the background. I softly blended Flirty Flamingo ink with the blending brush for the top card. I found that I really like the Watermelon Wonder ink for the body of the strawberry.

For this card I softly blended Bashful Blue ink with the blending brush for this card. The background vine is stamped in Smoky Slate. I love the sentiment from Philippians 4:13. Such a great reminder any time that I can do all things though Christ!

Sweet Strawberry Builder Bundle

Sometimes matching the punch to the stamped image can be tricky. This is an easy way to stamp all four images from the Sweet Strawberry set to align with the Strawberry Builder punch. This coordinating Sweet Strawberry bundle is available for purchase through June 2021. To purchase the stamps and punch: www.tracyhenry.stampinup.net Sweet Strawberry bundle 156214

Simple card just playing around with the set. I used the blending brush to add a little pink before I stamped the strawberries.

I ended up with a few more white flowers - I only wanted 3 but ended up with smudges at the end.

Darling Donkey CASE

Another card using this Darling Donkeys saleabration set. Their expressions never get old! I CASE'd this card from an Artisan post from Janneke Dijkstra - de Jong.

I love the simplicity of the card and the soft blended color in the background.

Darling Donkey Z Fold Card

I love this Darling Donkeys stamp set. Purchase $50.00 in any Stampin Up product to earn the set for free during Saleabration through Feb 28, 2021! The expression on the donkey's faces are just adorable!

SUPPLIES:
  • Darling Donkeys sab set 155264
  • Stitched Shape framelits 145372
  • Distressed Dots background stamp
  • Rich Razzleberry cs
I colored the donkeys with a combo of Copic markers and Stampin Blendabilities.
The stitched rectangles on the front are from thestampsoflife.com. The black background paper is an old pad of patterned paper and I don't know the brand.

For the Z Fold, score your main cardbase at 2 1/8" and 4 1/4".
Cut the white background panels at 4" x 5 1/4", and two at 1 7/8" x 5 1/4".
Cut the patterened paper (in this case black floral) at 4" x 3" and two at 1 7/8" x 3". Cut the embossed strips that lay over the patterened paper at 4" x 1 1/4" and two at 1 7/8" x 1 1/4".

For the two donkeys on the inside panel I used the squares from Stitched Framlits.
For the front panel donkey I used rectangle dies from Stamps of Life.

Custom Color Your Paper

Have you ever wished you had a specific color of cardstock to match your project, but didn't have just the right color? Well today I wanted Flirty Flamingo cardstock, and did not have any...so I decided to make my own.

Using the blending brushes (I don't have the SU brand yet), I applied flirty flamingo on white cardstock; then embossed with the wrapped in texture EF. I was pretty happy with the result.

I also die cut 4 of the tags and glued together so they appeared more dimensional.

Hydrangea Slimline Card & Envelope

Super easy CAS slimline card featuring the hydrangea flower image from the Hydrangea Haven stamp set. I love the shape of the slimline card, and making your own matching envelope couldn't be easier!

I used the small floral background shadow to randomly stamp and create the color on the hydrangea using Flirty Flamingo and Rich Razzleberry.

link to  my youtube video: https://youtu.be/f31K664ZM6w

Here are the measurements:

Slimline Card:

Base 8 ½" x 7" (folded to 8 1/2" x 3 1/2")

Card front 3 ⅜" x 8 ⅜"

Slimline envelope:

Score at 2 ½” & 6 ½”

Flip cardstock and score at 1 ½” & 10 ½”

Cut out tabs on all four corners, then fold and glue.

Look Who's Turning

Number of Years stamp set

Playing around with a little vellum and the Number of Years stamp set and matching Large Number Framelits dies. I stamped the Chevron background stamp in Dapper Denim on one card, and Merry Merlot on the other. Stamped the "look who's turning" with the vine and numbers on vellum in Versamark Ink. Heat embossed in white and gold stampin'emboss powder.

Added the die cut numbers to the main card panel for a shadow. Embellished with brads and paper clips.

Pretty simple overall, and I love the result. The white embossing stands out much more than it appears in the photo.

That Was Awesome

It seems like an odd time of year to pull out an old set, especially flamingos! The snow is flying outside, but I had an itch to make a tropical card lol! I haven't used this Fabulous Flamingo set in a while, and it is so fun and versatile.

I coordinated it with the Stitched Nested Label dies and popped it out with pop up dots. The fronds were stamped in Cucumber Crush and the water in Lost Lagoon, followed by an aqua painter with some Lost Lagoon over the water. The grasses were stamped using Pear Pizzazz. The flamingo combo of inks: Flirty Flamingo for the main body, Smoky Slate for the outline accents, and Petal Pink for the light body color.

Playing around with So Many Snowflakes Dies and Snowflake Wishes stamp set. I used WINTER SNOW ef on the background, and then sponge brayered it with Mint Macaron. Also sponge brayered the Mint Macaron on Whisper White and then die cut snowflakes. For the front of the card I die cut the window, then embossed with WINTER SNOW ef and followed by sponging the edges in Mint Macaron. the sentiment May your season sparkle is embossed with Silver EP. I painted the fantastix frost white on the card and snowflakes with a wet paintbrush.

Can you say CAS! This is about as simple a card there is! I love the look of the silver behind the tree. I used a glitter cardstock as the face of the card, and die cut the three trees using the die from Pine Woods dies on Whisper White. Added some green ribbon, and stamped the sentiment in Cucumber Crush ink. And voila!
