Look Who's Turning

Number of Years stamp set

Playing around with a little vellum and the Number of Years stamp set and matching Large Number Framelits dies. I stamped the Chevron background stamp in Dapper Denim on one card, and Merry Merlot on the other. Stamped the "look who's turning" with the vine and numbers on vellum in Versamark Ink. Heat embossed in white and gold stampin'emboss powder.

Added the die cut numbers to the main card panel for a shadow. Embellished with brads and paper clips.

Pretty simple overall, and I love the result. The white embossing stands out much more than it appears in the photo.

Remembering Kauai

SUPPLIES:

  • INK: Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Island Indigo, Early Espresso, More Mustard, Crushed Curry, River Rock, Craft White, Memento Black
  • CARDSTOCK: Whisper White, Espresso. Vellum
  • STAMPS: Wetlands, Peaceful Petals, Simply Sketched
  • ACCESSORIES: Scallope Oval and Oval Punch, Square Lattice EF, sponges, daubers, brayer, white gel pen. Brads.
This is a thank you card to my in-laws for an invite to vacation in Kauai with them. It is a CASE of a Zindorf scene with a little twist. This is the link to Zindorf post on Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/346284658824392500/

After sponging and brayering the sky, ocean and land, I stamped the foliage in Memento Black and hilighted with White gel pen. I stamped the flower from Peaceful Petals in Memento Black on the vellum (heat set or wait a long time to dry because it smears easily!). Then fixed the vellum over the beach scene with brads and mounted with white, and then espresso embossed with square lattice EF.
