Rustic Vintage Christmas

I made these rustic, shabby chic, vintage looking christmas cards using distress oxide inks. I first heat embossed the snowflakes in white on white background paper. Then added distressed oxide inks with blending brush using walnut stain, frayed burlap, iced spruce, hickory smoke. Flicked water on top of the inks. Also flicked some Walnut Ink from Tsukineko and some Weathered Wood distress paint (Tim Holtz). Distressed the snowflakes, branches and tree die cuts with oxide inks and added minty fresh lunar paste to some areas (including a through a stencil). My whole goal was to use the All Spruced Up bundle in a vintage way (rather than a fun and festive way that had been my trend).

Embossed Snowflakes

Having fun with an oldie but goodie, SNOWFLAKE WISHES set. I heat embossed the snowflakes in white before using the blending brush to add dapper denim. Simple but striking.

More Sweet Strawberry Cards

I am enjoying playing around with this Sweet Strawberry bundle. The strawberries just stamp out so nicely! The two step stamp process makes the image so beautiful. The blending brushes also add such a soft touch of ink to the background. I softly blended Flirty Flamingo ink with the blending brush for the top card. I found that I really like the Watermelon Wonder ink for the body of the strawberry.

For this card I softly blended Bashful Blue ink with the blending brush for this card. The background vine is stamped in Smoky Slate. I love the sentiment from Philippians 4:13. Such a great reminder any time that I can do all things though Christ!

Sweet Strawberry Builder Bundle

Sometimes matching the punch to the stamped image can be tricky. This is an easy way to stamp all four images from the Sweet Strawberry set to align with the Strawberry Builder punch. This coordinating Sweet Strawberry bundle is available for purchase through June 2021. To purchase the stamps and punch: www.tracyhenry.stampinup.net Sweet Strawberry bundle 156214

Simple card just playing around with the set. I used the blending brush to add a little pink before I stamped the strawberries.

I ended up with a few more white flowers - I only wanted 3 but ended up with smudges at the end.

Darling Donkey CASE

Another card using this Darling Donkeys saleabration set. Their expressions never get old! I CASE'd this card from an Artisan post from Janneke Dijkstra - de Jong.

I love the simplicity of the card and the soft blended color in the background.

Custom Color Your Paper

Have you ever wished you had a specific color of cardstock to match your project, but didn't have just the right color? Well today I wanted Flirty Flamingo cardstock, and did not have any...so I decided to make my own.

Using the blending brushes (I don't have the SU brand yet), I applied flirty flamingo on white cardstock; then embossed with the wrapped in texture EF. I was pretty happy with the result.

I also die cut 4 of the tags and glued together so they appeared more dimensional.
