Banner Valentine

I was trying to come up with a more "masculine" valentine. However, even changing the colors to brown/blue it still looks way too feminine :)

SUPPLIES:

Bashful blue, whisper white, crumbcake cardstock. Not quite navy, brown sugar, bashful blue ink. Banner Blast, label love, a round array stamp sets. Chevron and square lattice EF, finishing touches edgelits.

Trust the Lord

Stamped the flowers from Secret Garden in Stazon Black ink on watercolor paper. Colored using marker layering technique - crisp cantaloupe, calypso coral, strawberry slush, daffodil delight, crushed curry, more mustard and white gel pen.

Colored whole image in lightest color, added medium and darker colors at base, and colored again with lighter color to blend.

Watercolor Winter

To create the background colors, I colored the acrylic block using markers - coastal cabana, strawberry slush, crushed curry, pumpkin pie. Spritzed with water and stamped on whisper white cardstock. After it dried a little, I stamped the lovely as a tree in night of navy.

I think the colors mean I am looking toward spring!
