Another Father's Day card using Nature Silhouettes, Lovely as a Tree, and the brayering technique.
First I masked off the moon and the bottom hill with post it notes. Then I brayered Daffodil Delight just above the hill; masked off the top portion and brayered Calypso Coral just above the Daffodil Delight. Removed the top mask and brayered Wisteria Wonder, Elegant Eggplant over that, then Not Quite Navy. Removed the moon mask and sponged a Daffodil Delight. Stamped the background trees in black; removed the bottom hill mask and sponged the hill in with Lucky Limeade and Always Artichoke. Stamped the front trees. Stamped the wolf at the top of the hill; sponged in a little bit of Soft Suede under the hill line and around the bottom edges. Used ticket punch on the top right corner, added word window in Lucky Limeade and Elegant Eggplant; added brads.
I feel accomplished because I have such a hard time making masculine cards : ) Thanks for looking!

This is a father's day card - and the reason I can get away with beautiful flower's for a "manly" card, is that my step-dad is an amazing photographer of wildflowers : ) So he is one of the few men that might appreciate such a card. It is similar to the previously posted Field Flowers Thank You but I changed the colors to add a little more masculine tones : )
For the two-step stamping on the flowers I used Cherry Cobbler for the outline and Pumpkin Pie for the shading. Cardstock colors are Soft Suede, Cajun Craze, and Whisper White. I stamped the image before diecutting with the Labels Framelits.
A simple brayered Father's Day card. This is the old Lovely as a Tree set and the sentiment from Nature Silhouettes. I masked the moon and brayered Daffodil Delight, Groovy Guava, Wisteria Wonder, Elegant Eggplant and Not Quite Navy. Then stamped the trees in black. Added accents with modern label punch and brads.
My goal with this card was to try to use a color combo that wouldn't be typical for me to select with the Field Flower set. I used cajun craze, lucky limeade, early espresso, and white cardstock. For ink I used cherry cobbler for the flower outline, pumpkin pie for the two step stamping, and always artichoke for the stem and sentiment. I used the labels and bitty banners framelits, the petals a plenty and square lattice embossing folders, and the ribbon border and ticket punches. The sentiment is the itty bitty banners set with an antique brad below it.
Now on to father's day cards...
I've been playing around with my new stuff! These Floral Frames Framelits are so fun - I love them : )
This is more of a diecut and embossed card with minimal stamping. I haven't used the happiness shared sentiment in ages, but it seemed appropriate.
I sponged the edges of each layer of the Floral Frames with crumb cake and added a 3/4" circle stamped from the Posy Punch set and a 2 3/8" scallop punched in Elegant Eggplant.
