Direct to Paper TRUCK


To make the background around the truck, I used the direct to paper technique. Began with whisper white cardstock, applied stampin' spots directly to the paper: so saffron, apricot appeal, tempting turquoise, brocade blue. Then stamped truck image in black and colored with copics; cut with labels framelit.

Snowboarding


Went snowboarding with my 14 year old son yesterday. Somehow he looked like a pro and I looked...less refined (:  Sore today from trying to lessen the impact when falling!!!!

  • stamps - extreme snowboard, perfect words, lovely as atree
  • ink - basic black, very vanilla
  • cardstock - lucky limeade, basic gray, whisper white
  • accessories - sponge dauber, mini brads, word window punch, stampamajig

End of Day

Masking, sponging and brayering using COUNTRYSIDE and LOVELY AS A TREE sets.


stamped truck and colored with copic markers. Masked off sun, brayered in bashful blue then brayered top right corner with marina mist over the bashful blue. Masked the truck and stamped trees; sponged in basic gray and basic black for the ground.Sun was sponged with very vanilla and then with pearl x powders.

Oh Snowy Night

Inspired by my front yard...

I first stamped the tree from LOVELY AS A TREE set in basic black onto basic gray cardstock. Stamped again and then "stamped off" before masking and then stamping the lighter background trees. Then using the stamp a ma jig, I stamped a light shadow of very vanilla, inking the left side of the stamp heavier than the right. Sponged in very vanilla across the bottom, and sponged the moon in reverse punch out of 1 3/8" circle.

Sentiment is from teeny tiny wishes.

Sponged Delicate Doilies

SUPPLIES:
  • ink - lucky limeade, always artichoke, bashful blue, marina mist, crumb cake, soft suede, early espresso, versamark
  • stamps - delicate doilies, everything eleanor, french foliage, netting background, lacy and lovely
  • cardstock - early espresso, bashful blue, very vanilla
  • accessories - heat gun, clear EP, early espresso baker's twine, designer woodgrain buttons, labels framelits, sponge daubers

    First stamped the delicate doilies with versamark and heat embossed with clear EP; colored doilies in with bashful blue. Sponged in various colors, then stamped netting background, dots from french foliage, and the flourish from everything eleanor.
