For You by Eleanor

Another rainy day - deja vu! Playing with Everything Eleanor, another deja vu! This card was the result of mistakes and covering them up : )

I inked the flourish in early espresso and then melon mambo; inked the background label in crumb cake, then the edges in early espresso. Then embossed with petals a plenty. Stamped the floral images in early espresso then colored with pink pirouhette and melon mambo using a blender pen. Added white to the flower.

Everything Eleanor

I almost didn't get the Everything Eleanor stamp set - and now I'm so glad I did! There are so many other things I should be doing right now, instead of playing with my new SU stuff : )  Anyhoo...I used markers and blender pens on the flowers. The one on the right had yellow for the center sticking up things - it didn't look right; so I colored over it with the white and it came out a yellowish color.

  • Sahara Sand, Melon Mambo Cardstock. Watercolor Paper

Summer Afternoon Birthday Wishes

Yeah!! Got my new box delivered from the UPS man. This swing stamp is actually from a hostess set - Summer Afternoon. The happy birthday is from the itty bitty banners stamp set, cut with the bitty banners framelits. The petals a plenty EF and the itty bitty shape punches are not new - but they are to me : ) Cardstock colors used: cajun craze, pacific point, so saffron, watercolor paper. The ribbon is daffodil delight. Used markers and blender pens on the swing and accented with modern label punch with itty bitty flower shape.

Thanks for looking!

Field Flowers

Another rainy day...I am ready for sunshine.  This Field Flowers set seems bright and cheery - I'll see if the cheer is contagious : )
I used the large paper doily die, the polka dots EF, the swirls scribbles die all in whisper white. The flower is stamped in Elegant Eggplant, Wisteria Wonder, and Wild Wasabi. The with Love sentiment is cut out with the bitty banners framelits. The card and flower are matted with Wisteria Wonder and the button is from the designer series.

Psalm 118:24 This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it.
