Fall Leaves Joseph's Coat

This is a card made using the Joseph's Coat technique. I CASE'd it from a card I first saw on Stampin' Connection but I don't remember the ladies name. We actually made this at a workshop I held at Wildcat Pizza last night!

I used the FRENCH FOLIAGE and TEENY TINY WISHES sets. You take whisper white cardstock and sponge on a variety of colors - make them bright. Then you stamp the leaf image using a versamark pad and emboss with clear powder. Ink up a brayer or sponge in espresso ink and cover the entire card several times. Wipe off the excess ink from the embossed image. It's such a striking result :)
Misc: primrose petal ribbon; oval, scallop oval and circle punch, little leaves diecut; designer buttons; melon mambo, espresso cardstock..

Brilliant Sky

No matter what I did with the picture the background looks more bluish, but it is actually basic gray. I first stamped the LOVELY AS A TREE image in stazon black, masked the sun, then sponged in daffodil delight, calypso coral, melon mambo, rich razzleberry for the sky. Sponged lucky limeade, wild wasabi and always artichoke for the grass. The gray and lucky limeade backgrounds were stamped with the NETTING background stamp. Stamped the thinking of you from TEENY TINY WISHES and cut with bitty banners framelits. Added matting, small circle punches, and brads. No frills, just a peaceful and colorful scene :)
