Piggyback Ink Technique

SUPPLIES:

  • STAMPS: Swallowtail , Pretty Petites, Papillon Potpourri
  • CARDSTOCK: Primrose Petals, Basic Black, Whisper White, Pool Party, Baja Breeze
  • INK: Not Quite Navy, Craft White
  • ACCESSORIES: Blender Pen, Baja Breeze, Calypso Coral and Pretty in Pink Markers, Petite Curly Label Punch, Elegant Butterfly and Bitty Butterfly Punches
To achieve the look I've named PIGGYBACK technique, I first stamped the large Swallowtail in Not Quite Navy. I then colored selected areas with a blender pen dipped in craft white ink. Allowed the craft white to dry, then colored over it (piggybacked) with a Baja Breeze Marker. I colored some other accent areas with Calypso Coral and Pretty in Pink markers. Also colored selected areas with Uniball Signo White pen.
