SAB 2023

This is one of my favorite sets from the January 2023 SAB sale a-bration catalog. The papers used are basic white, old olive and powder pink. I first stamped the carrots in tangerine tango on white cs with cucumber green for the foliage. Then I put some pacific point on an acetate sheet, spritzed with water, and applied the blue with the water painter brush. Then stamped the carrots again and fussy cut and used stampin dimensionals to pop up on top of stamped image. The background leaves are stamped in pear pizzazz.

The foliage was done in pear pizzazz, lemon lime and cucumber crush. The background carrots were stamped in tangerine tango. HEY THERE sentiment was stamped in full with cucumber crush, then stamped again without reloading the ink, and repeat.

Flakes and Rock Candy

Have you ever recorded how many hours it takes to make your handmade Christmas greeting cards? And who else feels guilty if you buy a store bought greeting card lol!

But I thoroughly enjoyed every minute spent on crafting these handmade cards!

For the backgrounds on most of the cards, I smooshed inks individually on acetate, spritzed with water, and then smooshed on cardstock or watercolor paper. I mostly used distress oxide inks, but also some regular stampin up ink colors.

All of the snowflakes are older Stampin Up dies that were cut out of colored cardstock, brushed on with Wink of Stella, then added Ranger's glossy accents in followed with Tim Holtz  Rock Candy (large glitter). Also added the Rock Candy to random spots on the edges of each card panel.
