MOSAIC pattern case

I CASE'd this card from a posting on Splitcoast Stampers for one of my workshop cards this week. Such a fun pattern, using the new MOSAIC MADNESS stamp set with matching MOSAIC punch and embossing folder! I used paper circles for the center, because I had 25 people in the workshop and couldn't provide 225 basic jewels :)

I used Real Red and new in color Coastal Cabana for my colors.

Wildflower Birthday

SUPPLIES:

  • cardstock: Whisper White, Blushing Bride, non SU pink
  • ink: Pretty in Pink, Lucky Limeade, Real Red, Night of Navy, Island Indigo
  • stamps: Wildflower Meadow, Label Love
  • accessories: Wildflower Meadow folder, Artisan Label punch, non SU ribbon
After inking entire Wildflower Meadow with Pretty in Pink, I then colored bird and flowers with markers, huffed and stamped. Embossed with matching Wildflower Meadow folder.

Note: I made this for a card workshop, and everyone loved the card. However, it took so long for each person to color the stamp, that it left people waiting for too long. So, I wouldn't recommend it as a great hands-on card!

Vintage Honeycomb

When I teach my card workshops, I have to keep the idea fun and eye-catching without being too involved. I hadn't pulled out "Elements of Style" in a long time and forgot how much I love this set!

Make sure to stamp the background flower before embossing with the honeycomb EF. I also stamped the chevron pattern from the Oh, Hello set on whisper white using Pretty in Pink classic pad; stamped the flower from Elements of style in Early Espresso and then cut with the labels framelits. Colored the flower pattern with markers.

Bleach Technique

This is a super simple card we made at a workshop using the bleach technique. To achieve this bleach effect, place paper towels on a plate and pour bleach directly onto paper towels. Ink stamp by pressing directly on the bleach soaked paper towels and then immediately onto card.

The verse is from the Trust God set and the flowers from the Secret Garden set in the spring catalog. I pulled out some paper that wasn't filed according to color, and I believe the light color is pale plum, and the background paper may be wild wisteria

Super Simple Doily

About as simple as it gets! This is for a class I am teaching at the library. Since we do 2 cards, I try to design one of them with very few steps in the interest of time.
