Mother's Day Marigolds

Mother's Day Marigold Moments

A Mother's Day card featuring the Marigold Moments stamp set and dies. The flowers were stamped on Basic White CS in Tangerine Tango and the background was stamped in Powder Pink. The background stencil was inked on Basic White CS with Cucumber Green. The die cut leaves are from the Happiness Abounds stamp set and Blossoming Happiness Dies - they were colored with an aqua painter and Cucumber Green.

Beautiful Painted Poppies

Bringing out an older set that is so fun to use - Painted Poppies. I love the simplicity of the flowers, and the watercolor background splashes that add so much character. I colored the poppies with Stampin Blends alcohol ink pens.

Marigolds of Blue

A simple and clean card using the new Marigold Moments bundle. I love how easy it is to create a colorful card in just moments with this set. The flowers were stamped in Pacific Point and Bashful Blue. The background EF is the old Decorative Dots.

Blueberries of Hope

This blueberry image is from the Berry Blessings SAB set. The two step stamping makes it come out beautiful. I added a little watercoloring in a different blue on top of the berries for a small contrast. Jeremiah 29:11 is one of my all time favorite verses. A reminder that God is for us, He is with us, He has a plan, and we have hope! The blueberries are stamped on Soft Seafoam Green CS in Cucumber Crush and Night of Navy. The blueberry fill color is Dapper Denim.

More Sweet Strawberry Cards

I am enjoying playing around with this Sweet Strawberry bundle. The strawberries just stamp out so nicely! The two step stamp process makes the image so beautiful. The blending brushes also add such a soft touch of ink to the background. I softly blended Flirty Flamingo ink with the blending brush for the top card. I found that I really like the Watermelon Wonder ink for the body of the strawberry.

For this card I softly blended Bashful Blue ink with the blending brush for this card. The background vine is stamped in Smoky Slate. I love the sentiment from Philippians 4:13. Such a great reminder any time that I can do all things though Christ!

Father's Day Field Flowers

This is a father's day card - and the reason I can get away with beautiful flower's for a "manly" card, is that my step-dad is an amazing photographer of wildflowers : ) So he is one of the few men that might appreciate such a card. It is similar to the previously posted Field Flowers Thank You but I changed the colors to add a little more masculine tones : )

For the two-step stamping on the flowers I used Cherry Cobbler for the outline and Pumpkin Pie for the shading. Cardstock colors are Soft Suede, Cajun Craze, and Whisper White. I stamped the image before diecutting with the Labels Framelits.

Field Flowers

Another rainy day...I am ready for sunshine.  This Field Flowers set seems bright and cheery - I'll see if the cheer is contagious : )
I used the large paper doily die, the polka dots EF, the swirls scribbles die all in whisper white. The flower is stamped in Elegant Eggplant, Wisteria Wonder, and Wild Wasabi. The with Love sentiment is cut out with the bitty banners framelits. The card and flower are matted with Wisteria Wonder and the button is from the designer series.

Psalm 118:24 This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it.
