Secret Garden Thank You

SUPPLIES:

  • cardstock - basic gray, naturals white, kraft, watercolor paper
  • ink - early espresso, night of navy
  • stamps - elements of style, secret garden, lacy & lovely
  • accessories - markers, oval and scallop oval punch, secret garden framelits, square lattice folder, midnight muse ribbon
For the background, I stamped elements of style flower in early espresso ink on naturals white cardstock and then embossed with the square lattice folder. Then I colored with the markers, and it gave it a vintage, antiqued look.

I stamped the large flowers on watercolor paper; colored in using marker layering technique with bashful blue, baja breeze, night of navy and blender pen.

For you Floral

Well, at least I used a different EF and did not use the lace ribbon border punch ( :  Still couldn't sway myself away from the label framelit.  I was trying to do the marker layering and have it turn out as beautiful as Karen Barber and many of the other amazing stamping artists out there - hopefully with a little practice.  I may need to change this out to a get well soon card - my best friend's mom just fell off her bike and broke her knee cap.  She is having surgery today - ouch!
