CAS Birthday Wishes

Another CAS card using the bleach and blender pen technique. After stamping the flower from BLOOMING WITH KINDNESS set in stazon timber brown, I colored with bleach using an old blender pen. Also distressed the edges and then added bleach with blender pen.

Cardstock colors: so saffron, chocolate chip, and I am not sure on the orange color - maybe really rust?

Bleached Thank You

I stamped the flower from BLOOMING WITH KINDNESS set in espresso ink on crumb cake cardstock. Colored flowers with an old blender pen and bleach. Used the blender pen on the edge of the circle for added dimension after stamping thank you from the retired silhouette sentiments set. Used my fingernail to distress edges of scallop, circle and itty bitty flower. The card is so saffron cardstock.

Bordered Doily

I have the privilege of teaching a card workshop at a senior living facility. This is the card we will be making.

To achieve the crisp border on the doily, I first inked the entire stamp with crumb cake, then colored the edges with a cherry cobbler marker as well as the small edge of the center.

So Simple Doily

SUPPLIES:

stamps - hello doily, sincere salutations
ink - sahara sand, pretty in pink, espresso
cardstock - primrose petals, whisper white
accesories - primrose petals ribbon, itty bitty punches, pearl rhinestones

Inked the entire hello doily stamp with sahara sand, then inked the edges with pretty in pink before stamping.

Embossed Doily

First masked off the sponged area - sponged in pumpkin pie, rich razzleberry, elegant eggplant. Stamped doily in elegant eggplant on top; embossed with fancy fan folder. Added itty bitty flower punch, itty bitty banner stamped in pumpkin pie. Card is primrose petals.

So Many Smiles

SUPPLIES:

stamps - delicate doilies, petite pairs, french foliage (dots)
ink - crumb cake, cajun craze, always artichoke, espresso
paper - crumb cake, whisper white, rust
accessories - itty bitty punches, mini brads, corner rounder

The idea for this card was to create a card without using the Big Shot. When I teach classes at the library, we do two cards and inevitably, everyone ends up waiting for the Big Shot. So I decided to do one card that emphasizes embossing folders and diecuts, and another that doesn't require the use of the Big Shot at all!

Simple Reason to Smile

This card is for another workshop I am teaching at the Hayden library. Trying to keep it simple but still cute. This flower is from the reason to smile set. I also used the petals a plenty EF, the word window punch, and the itty bitty punches. I stamped the flowers in real red, calypso coral and pretty in pink.

Simple Black & White

This card is simple, simple, simple! No coloring, just stamping with black ink on whisper white paper! The stamp set is happiness shared; thank you sentiment is from the old hostess set faith in nature. Just stamp floral image as background print; mat with daffodil delight. Stamp image again on white and cut with window frame framelits; add black decprative label punch to accent edges. Mat with larger window frame framelits in daffodil delight after running through square lattice embossing folder. Add itty bitty punch shapes, ribbon, and sentiment punched out with word window punch. Elegant, classy and easy!
