Stippled Blossoms & Doily

Stamped the Hello Doily in Blushing Bride on Whisper White CS. Stamped the large flower from Stippled Blossoms set in Basic Black and Smoky Slate; stamped smaller flowers and sentiment from Sweetly Framed and cut with Chalk Talk framelit. Added Sahara Sand Marker around edges of large flower to give it more of a shadow and 3d effect; embossed background panel with Modern Mosaic EF. Added ribbon (not SU).

Poppies & Doily

I started by inking the Hello Doily stamp in Sahara Sand onto Whisper White cardstock. Then stamped the Pleasant Poppies and little butterfly from Papillon Potpourri directly on top of the doily using Black Stazon ink. Colored the flowers and butterfly with markers - baja breeze, island indigo, garden green. Added a little Signo white gel pen. Added shadows under flowers and butterfly with Sahara Sand marker. Background panel is Pool Party.

Thank you Katherine Constable of Australia for the inspiration - I originally saw her card similar to this on Stampin' Connection!

Bordered Doily

I have the privilege of teaching a card workshop at a senior living facility. This is the card we will be making.

To achieve the crisp border on the doily, I first inked the entire stamp with crumb cake, then colored the edges with a cherry cobbler marker as well as the small edge of the center.

Embossed Doily

I started with a piece of vanilla cardstock and stamped the doily with versamark then heat embossed with stampendous' pink pastel EP. Brayered pumpkin pie, cherry cobbler and so saffron over card then sponged early espresso inside doily;wiped off excess from brayering. Used ticket punch on top and matted with espresso and added designer series button and espresso baker's twine; added dotted scallop ribbon border punched in pink pirouette and espresso. Stamped thanks so much from old sincere salutations on pink pirouette; punched with oval, and matted in espresso with scallop oval. Used ticket punch on top edges of espresso and white cardstock.

Super Simple Doily

About as simple as it gets! This is for a class I am teaching at the library. Since we do 2 cards, I try to design one of them with very few steps in the interest of time.
