Direct to Paper TRUCK

To make the background around the truck, I used the direct to paper technique. Began with whisper white cardstock, applied stampin' spots directly to the paper: so saffron, apricot appeal, tempting turquoise, brocade blue. Then stamped truck image in black and colored with copics; cut with labels framelit.

SUPPLIES

  • stamps - countryside, itty bitty banners
  • cardstock - so saffron, soft suede, whisper white
  • ink - black, tempting turquoise, marina mist, brocade blue, so saffron, apricot appeal
  • accessories - labels framelits, bitty banners framelits, apothecary accents framelits, square lattice EF, lacy brocade EF, fancy fan EF, woodgrain designer buttons, linen thread

Happy Thoughts of You

This is my first attempt at the baby wipe technique. I took 4 reinkers and dropped a few of each color in a row on a baby wipe and wiped it directly on Whisper White cardstock. As I continued down, some of the colors overlapped. Then I stamped the flower directly over the top. Card is matted in early espresso.

SUPPLIES (all SU unless otherwise noted):
  • Cardstock: early espresso, whisper white, melon mambo
  • Ink: elegant eggplant, calypso coral
  • Reinkers: calypso coral, melon mambo, wisteria wonder, pool party
  • Stamps: Field Flowers
  • Punches: dotted scallop ribbon border, decorative label, martha stewart edge punch
  • Misc: ribbon, pink rhinestones (not SU)
