Pool Party Triple Layer

So I am clearly hung up on this triple stack stamping thing! And evidentally I'm also hung up on the pool party with basic grey and crumb cake combo since this is the second card using these colors! I think what I love most about this triple layer stamping technique is that it turns out so elegant looking with great dimension. I think most experienced stampers can guess how the little white tabs ended up on the card (and I like them too); amazing how many little doodads and embellishments go on a card to cover a stamping mistake like stamping the edge of the stamp with the image :(

SUPPLIES:
  • cardstock - pool party, white
  • ink - crumb cake, basic gray, pool party
  • stamps - papillon potpourri, pocket silouhettes (thanks so much), fresh vintage
  • misc - elegant butterfly, oval, scallop, word window punches; rhinestones, ribbon
To anyone who used my incorrect dimensions previously listed I apologize :) The dimensions listed on the triple stack cards below should be accurate.

Triple Layer Embossed

This is another card using the triple layer or triple stack technique. After stacking the 3 white layers, I stamped the doilies and flowers in crumb cake, pool party, and basic gray. I left them in a stack and embossed them with the petals a plenty EF. Then matted each layer with soft suede. The stamps used are from delicate doilies and fresh vintage SAB set. The happy birthday in the pool party scallop circle is from a retired hostess set called happiest birthday wishes. Ribbon is crumb cake seam binding.

Mat and card dimensions: (I have corrected the middle mat size)

outer largest rectangle soft suede mat 4 1/8" x 5 1/4"

Mushy Thanks

I made this card using happy you hostess set, dot dot dot background stamp, and fresh vintage SAB set. I stamped the dot dot dot pattern in sahara sand ink on whisper white cardstock and matted with pool party and early espresso cardstocks. I stamped the background patterns from the fresh vintage set on pool party cardstock in sahara sand ink and matted both with early espresso; adhered to card and tied crumb cake seam binding ribbon. Stamped the mushroom in early espresso, colored with blender pen and inks then matted with scallop circle in early espresso. Punched 1/2" circle in crumb cake, and itty bitty flower in pool party. Added brown rhinestone.
 SUPPLIES:
cardstock - early espresso, pool party, whisper white
ink - early espresso, sahara sand, river rock, baja breeze, crumb cake
stamps - dot dot dot, fresh vintage SAB, happy you (hostess)
misc - 2 3/8" scallop circle, 1 3/4" circle, 1/2" circle, itty bitty shapes punches; seam binding ribbon, brown pearl rhinestones

Get Well Soon

I made this get well card using the Nature Walk and FreshVintage stamp sets.  I stamped the Fresh Vintage pattern on the background using Pool Party  and Wild Wasabi ink and then ran it through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice EF. Used the Vintage Wallpaper EF on the Wild Wasabi. After I stamped the bird and colored using markers and blender pen, I embossed with the Square Lattice EF. Trimmed it with victoria crochet ribbon and designer series button. I took a very small trimmed edge of baja breeze paper and ran through the button holes to look like thick thread; then used tacky tape to stick the button to ribbon.

Fresh Vintage Cupcake Birthday

I made the background of this card using the Fresh Vintage SAB set, along with the everyday enchantment DSP. I also used the Create a Cupcake set with the matching punch.
