CAS Birthday Wishes

Another CAS card using the bleach and blender pen technique. After stamping the flower from BLOOMING WITH KINDNESS set in stazon timber brown, I colored with bleach using an old blender pen. Also distressed the edges and then added bleach with blender pen.

Cardstock colors: so saffron, chocolate chip, and I am not sure on the orange color - maybe really rust?

Removeable Stamps & Acrylic Blocks

I am sure I am not the only one that this has ever happened to - you have your card almost complete, and your removable stamp falls off of the block, smearing your project! It is soooo frustrating.

So I started adding a mini glue dot or a zot to my acrylic blocks and then putting the removable stamp on. It works wonderfully! You can reuse the glue dot several times before you need a new one. It has saved me many exclamatories and frustrations since I started doing this!

Cowboy Birthday

SUPPLIES:

stamps - out west, well scripted
cardstock - black, marina mist, crumb cake, whisper white
ink - craft white, stazon black, bashful blue, basic gray
accessories - heat gun, black embossing powder, woodgrain EF, chevron EF, word window punch, large oval punch, mini brads, twine, sponge, corner rounder, paper piercing template, spellbinders nestabilities circle dies (to create circle frame)

This card is for my father-in-laws birthday - I still have stuch a hard time coming up with a masculine card.

After stamping the image in craft white, I heat embossed with black powder; sponged bashful blue and basic gray around the image. Embossed black with woodgrain EF, then cut circle out to overlay on cowboy image. Used two sizes of circle nestabilities to create the crumb cake circle frame. Used paper piercing template to pierce around outer edge of cowboy circle.
It is hard to see in the photograph, but the bottom marina mist piece is embossed with the chevron EF. There is also a mini brad in the top left corner that is hard to see.
